Every developer has a dream company or companies that they want to work for. As a technical writer and python developer, I would love to work for Spotify, Real Python and Netflix.
Spotify has been my favourite music app for years and the minute, it got licensed to be used in my home country, Nigeria. I got the application at once. Spotify uses Django for its web-applications and thus, you get a full python experience on Spotify. As a python developer, it would be my biggest dream and honor to work for spotify even if it's short term as I know I would get to learn as I work.
At Real Python you can learn all things Python from the ground up. I wish to share my python knowledge with other pythonista. The contents from Real Python is gold, like it's so good. As of now, no open spot but I will keep writing so that when they decide to start recruiting editors I would be so great at writing, they won't have a choice to not give me the job. Heheπ
Netflix relies heavily on Python, using the programming language for its β"full content lifecycle,β" including tasks like security automation and training machine learning models for its recommendation algorithms, according to a Netflix Technology Blog Tuesday. Plus, I would love to experience the chaos monkey.
Another option for me
Besides working in these companies, I want to be freelancing. Freelancing is easy and beautiful and less stressful (to me, though). I get to work anytime, anyday (as long as I work within time limit).
