My friends before getting the job
Before i get my current job as a software engineer, i had a developer friend who used to tell me it's hard to find a job, and that i have to study bachelor for years and more in order to work same as me, and another friend who used to always remind me that it's impossible to find a good job more then $15/hour in USA without a diploma.
My plan to prove them wrong
I literally took the hard path with all patient and proved them both wrong, i stood home while doing a bad job for $125 a day for 4 days. only paying my rent 640 my expensive groceries, my car insurance 340 and gas 50. Had a great python/javascript course called cs50web, made lots of projects ecommerce instagram clone gmail clone, with modern designs, and applied for few jobs.
Long story short
I've got interview, they loved my projects and designs, and told me they liked me through the recruiter, got hired literally after three months studying code and making projects, every waking hours, only leaving laptop barely for eating and cooking, that's all
Proud of my current job
And have learned already lots of terms that used to seem complicated, such as Azure Devops, CI/CD, Scrum, Agile, SalesForce, I worked with Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML, SCSS, ISML, SSR
After five months
I have jumped to svelte.js and learned it fast, then now i'm working with vue.js and learned it faster as well in few days based on my experience with svelte and react. also i study new things every single day and follow more courses
So far
Now my goal becomes shooting for Senior developer soon, and Lead Developer in less then 6 months. no one can tell me i can't for sure lol. so total experience so far is 3 months study and 5 months contractor then full time. also i have solid graphic and ui/ux design experience. but now good that i added full stack experience.
My new goals
For the long future terms, i'm shooting for FANG and would love also to hear your experiments if any is also crazy like mine, or if you ever faced negative people who try to stop you from achieving dreams.
Last to say
If this is interesting topic, i can share more in depth, about how i learned, how i splitted my time, projects i made, etc .. thanks for reading till this point. please share your comment and let me learn something from you, since this is m first post here.
Thanks

Any chance you could take a weekend and learn about full stops and capitalisation.π
In all seriousness though, as you become more senior, your ability to communicate with management, vendors and users increases faster than your need to communicate with the computer. This post is part of your future profile and you will be judged on the style as well as the content.
Well done on sticking with it and starting a new career.
I would reformat this and add some paragraphs - itβs borderline impossible to follow.
Iβm sure you have a good story to tell but very few people are going to read this from start to finish Iβm sorry to say.
I agree, i wanted to through that thoughts out of my mind first, then improve it later. i'm good with writing well organized articles, and i will pull that out for sure, just because i was always procrastinating to write articles, i had to fast do that. but thanks for the great note my friend
Nice work on the reformatting.
But have a look at some first-person pronouns, in some instances you are using capital letter I (correct) and others small letter i. The former is recommended while the latter is not.
sure thanks, i will try to improve it again.
probably this is my first English Article at all
I am sure you can do better.
yup thanks body
+1
I made changes, thanks for the suggestion
Yeah, sure π
I will be posting my new update. Reaching $81/hour with a big company.
Thanks for all reactions
I can tell you learned English as a second (maybe third) language. Great job on your first article! You can only get better. and Congratulations on your job! I'm so inspired.
Because you're in the USA, unfortunately you will be looked down on and not always taken seriously because of "accent" and english that isn't clear.
However there are videos you can watch and online courses you can take to help you with that. It will help you communicate better at work (and can potentially translate to more money too since you can negotiate better and communicate with supervisors better).
This is a good channel to start with: youtube.com/user/ENGLISHCLASS101
All the best!
Thanks for the amazing feedback.
But for English trust me, no one can underrate me based on my accent, especially when i make it to a great company like Google, and i will leave negative people and companies who pay attention to accent behind me forever. I grow fast and my energy is always positive and super high, so basically if i join a new team, i put effort to grow and learn fast, then at the end, people are seeing my skills not my accent.
i already attend lots of meetings with lots of people and i use my accent to communicate effectively well without any issues.
Best Regards
This is very inspirational to me, I am exploring JavaScript and Python for generative art and machine learning with AI. But I was wondering if you found any books or free websites you used to create your projects from? Iβve been studying like you as a freelance web developer for 2 months and reaching the end goal to get a job like you is what I want :)
Yeah thanks for saying that.
I found best practical and great community so far for python and javascript, is CS50 courses of Harvard, just type in google CS50, CS50web, CS50AI
Practical, Deep Learning, Great supportive community.
and reach me for any advice related to this field.
Trust me, you can easily find jobs entry level, the main two keys is to have a good resume and presentation for your self with what you know and what you did.
And the number one key is to find a recruiter not a company, he will get paid to get you hired, and he knows the whole process.
