Online conference is not just a fix for temporary inability to attend on-site conferences. Recently I had a pleasure to co-organize and participate in Remote Python Pizza. It is a beautiful experience, we had an unforgettable vibe in Discord between talks, people were connecting, learning and growing (and eating pizza!). Even though YouTube banned our livestream right in the middle of conference (supposedly we forgot to uncheck "suitable for kids" checkbox, but there are plenty of other potential reasons).
Below is a list of 10 remote conferences that will happen in May. All of them are either completely free or available for a small donation to fight diseases.

DIY
I know this list is not covering all technologies we use and for that reason I encourage you organising an online conference yourself. It does not involve big budgets, you could even do it completely self-hosted (you would then also avoid our YouTube issue).
I would like to thank Alexandre, Christian, Darya and Artur for all their superhero work done on organising Remote Python Pizza ❤️.
