As social beings, humans look for connection to shorten the social distance. Many individuals and organizations are utilizing virtual reality (VR) for the first time. Social VR platforms are seeing a dramatic increase in use. Businesses also are using VR to communicate across distances, to prototype solutions, and guide decisions. In this article, we invite you to come along with us as we travel together, a European developer (me) and an American designer Heather Dodds, Ph.D., into virtual space to discover that the most important connection is behind the avatar.
