Non-Coding Tech Careers:
If you're curious about tech careers that don't involve coding, check out this insightful article: 21 tech jobs that don't require coding. It offers a comprehensive look at no-code or low-code roles in the tech industry, providing valuable insights for those exploring alternative career paths.
My Inspiration
Reflecting on my own journey, I have always had a strong desire to learn programming since a young age. However, it wasn't until I came across a Data Science advertisement before the pandemic that I considered trying it.
At first, I unknowingly pursued frontend development on my own instead of data science without proper guidance, but I soon discovered the wide range of career opportunities available within the tech industry.
After receiving messages from others who were facing similar confusion, I decided to do something. This led me to create Tech Roadmap, a technical roadmap project that aims to demystify the tech industry and empower newcomers to find their niche.
How It Works
Tech Career Roadmap functions as a roadmap (no pun intended!) for tech enthusiasts. Unsure of where to start? Dive into the careers page for insights into various tech job roles. Once you've got a grasp, venture into career-specific pages curated with resources tailored to each path, guiding you step-by-step towards success.
In the Frontend Development path, you'll find resources covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Vue, and Angular.
For those interested in Backend Development, the roadmap delves into languages such as Python, Java, and C#, along with frameworks like Express.js and Django.
While on the Technical Writing path, you'll discover resources for honing your writing skills, understanding technical documentation, and more. (Although, it is still a work in progress.)
We are also working on creating readmes for each technical roadmap on GitHub, which will make it easier for users to access and explore the resources.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we plan to add more paths. So stay tuned for updates!
The Tech Stack
Now, let's discuss the tech behind Tech Roadmap. I am using Next.js and styled-components for a smoother development experience. The code is hosted on GitHub, and the site is deployed via Vercel for a seamless setup.
Conclusion
Building Tech Career Roadmap has been an incredible journey, and I'm thrilled to see it evolve. My goal remains unchanged: to empower individuals transitioning into tech, one resource link at a time.
So, if you're looking to explore tech careers, level up your skills, or simply seeking guidance, Tech Roadmap is here to guide you. Dive in, explore the paths, and embark on your tech journey with confidence.
Till next time, happy coding!
