Why do you start in the middle of the page? Modern browsers/OS go to great lengths to sweep scrollbars under the rug, so there's no obvious indication that there's more content up the page. Nobody's gonna see it.
The "origin story" section is difficult to read on desktop because it's very wide and the text is centred.
I quite like the site though.
I made some changes.
No more personal sob story.

I mean when you visit the site, it's scrolled to the "For Chat" section and there's no indication that this isn't the top of the page. The only way to make the page load as users would expect is to disable javascript first.
