Once again this year, the University of Bologna took part in CyberChallenge.IT, the national cybersecurity competition organised by the Cybersecurity National Lab.
After a training course that lasted several months, a team of students from the Ulisse lab took part in the final competition, which was held from 3 to 6 July 2024 at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ITC-ILO) in Turin.
The team, made up of Alan Davide Bovo, Giacomo Boschi, Davide Gianessi, Renato Eugenio Maria Marziano, Elia Soldati and Simone Mazzacano (from left to right in the photo), faced 42 other teams from all over Italy in an 8-hour CTF Attack/Defense competition, from 10:00 to 18:00 on 4 July.
Thanks to their dedication and expertise, the team secured an impressive 3rd place with a score of 108,631 points, ranking just behind PoliTo and Sapienza.
Congratulations to all participants, especially our students, for their remarkable achievement! See you next year for the next edition of CyberChallenge.IT!

In the spirit of sharing and collaboration that characterizes the Ulisse lab, we are providing the slides from the presentations and the GitHub repositories of the projects developed:
