Yep, it's still not super good, but they made great progress last time, and if you need absolute control, there are additional tools for that. On the other hand, there are a lot of use cases when tools like Dalle 3 can play well

Directus should be #1 on this list. It's FOSS, Vue-based, uses any RDMS and works with your DB schema rather than impose one on you. It really gets out of your way as much as possible

Directus is definitely taking the lead position. But what would you say to people who prefer React-based CMS?

We need to stop with React. It is a convoluted framework that causes so many unnecessary hassles. I've tried it with Strapi and it took too long to build custom extensions for that platform. We need to promote more Vue and Svelte projects!
