Do you test your software?

There is a doubt that never leaves my mind.

1) Do the software development organizations perform verification practices (testing and reviews) or such activities are important only in the academic world?

2) In the organization where you work in, are the software evaluated by software testing and/or reviews?

2.1) Do you perform only functional testing or non-funcitonal testing (usability, security, performance, etc) too?
