[SOLVED] Raspberry Pi4 won't boot, ACT light is solid green?

TDLR; Before you rush to throw our your pi[e] try the following:

• A brand new SD card.

• Burn the image to SD Card (must support raspi-config)

• Once the pi booted: open a terminal. Goto advanced options --> reset EEPROM [SOLVED]

I had to also put pressure on the SD Card reader plate in order for the SD Card to clamp tighter when inserted in the slot

worst case you resort to the final option: bring to a tech shop to verify if board is defective before throwing out as defect; save the planet!
