A few weeks ago some of the YNAB team attended KotlinConf 2019.
We have been using Kotlin in our Android app for some time and are particularly interested in its multiplatform capability as a way to share code across Android, iOS and the Web.
After attending quite a few multiplatform focused sessions, chatting with folks at the conference, and discussing things as a team, we're planning to start experimenting with multiplatform usage across Android and iOS and then eventually on the Web. There is significant potential here that we want to explore!
