Well, you are a web developer. So why not create a clone of a website, like YouTube and Google or something. Create something that uses a database or you can create an online game if you do node.js. There are many things to do in the programming world and they are endless. Like a Facebook clone or a spotify clone. I hope these ideas help. :)
