Accessing the Chinese audience presents vast opportunities for businesses, but entering this market requires a specific approach. China remains a relatively closed country where familiar services like Google, Facebook, and YouTube do not work. Instead, there are local equivalents such as Baidu, WeChat, and QQ that perform similar functions.
For most Chinese services, simple access is sufficient to view publications or use the Baidu search engine. However, if you need more comprehensive use of services, including registering an account with extended features, you will need to put in more effort, especially if you are outside China.
Registering on Chinese platforms like QQ has become a challenging task in recent years. The registration process might not work on the first try, but there is still a chance of success. One of the methods we will describe in this article will help you register on QQ.
To successfully register on QQ, you need to convince the messenger that you are in China. For this, you will need any anti-detect browser and residential proxies. To demonstrate the method, I will use Asoks proxies.
First, choose an anti-detect browser that you will be comfortable working with, register there, and log in. Generally, all browsers have their own clients that need to be downloaded to your computer. If it's difficult to decide, I use Undetectable and Dolphin Anty.
Set up the browser and install Chinese proxies. We recommend using residential proxies as they are the most secure, and in 99% of cases, services will consider you a real Chinese user.
In the personal account on Asoks, on the main page, click on the button - "Create new port."
Next, set the region to "China" (you can choose up to the city level if necessary) and click "create IP:port."
Copy the login, password, IP address, and port.
Paste the copied data into the anti-detect browser when setting up the proxy and launch it.
Connection Check
To verify that you have indeed accessed the internet as a Chinese user, enter any search query in Google. If the proxy is correct, you will not get any results, as Google is blocked in China. In our case, this is exactly what happens.
Go to baidu.com and search for the QQ messenger.
Registering on QQ
Go to the official QQ website and click the "登录" button in the top right corner.
In the window that opens, click the middle button "注册账号."
Fill out the registration form by providing your nickname, password, and phone number to receive an activation code. Here, you will need a Chinese phone number. Virtual numbers from other countries, such as the USA, may not work for this task.
Receive the activation code on your Chinese phone number and enter it on the website.
After successfully entering the activation code, your account will be created.
This method allows you to bypass restrictions and successfully register on Chinese services like QQ using Asoks residential proxies and an anti-detect browser.
