surely a massive embarrassment to oracle sales since i would have thought the oracle db is fast enough to handle booking 1M hotel nights a day and surely the 'cost' of the the 'unbreakability' of oracle db should be a nobrainer to the booking dot com CTO !
what incentive is there for any startup to even consider oracle db if a dot com is using mysql ? (booking claim to have been operating for over 15 years so how can they claim to be a startup ?)
