Spring is fully under way, and the Kubernetes image registry redirection has now super-definitely-happened. If you haven’t yet updated your pipelines to pull from registry.k8s.io, get on with it ASAP!
Last month, we started a new livestream series called Call Dr. Kube, where we find K8s experts and pick their brains with tricky questions. Our first session featured Arnaud Alcabas, one of our incredible Solutions Architects—check it out!
This month we were joined by the fantastic Arthur Busser as Dr. Kube. Between Kubernetes, DevOps wizardry, and more, it was a great episode! As always, you can find us on our Twitch and YouTube channels.
On April 11, Kubernetes version 1.27 (codenane: Chill Vibes) was released, including a lot of new features. Of particular interest might be the new capabilities for pods to resize themselves without restarting, allowing for much more dynamic resource allocation.
Earlier this month, the CNCF also completed its third-party security audit of Kubernetes, based on version 1.24; you can read the full report here.
