HP elitebook 820G1 linux fixes
Some HP laptops have a graphics issue with UEFI Native (Without CSM)
mode and Debian
Prerequisites
- Installation Media of Debian
- External Display
Procedure:
- Connect an external display via Display Port.
- Turn on the PC and close the lid.
- If you see the splash screen (HP logo) on the display, open the lid and press F9.
- Continue to the installation process.
Other issues
- No system error after the HP logo.
- You can add custom boot option with
EFI\debian\grubx64.efi

- The system installed still suffers from the glitch.
- When you troubleshoot or use an encrypted root, it can be a problem.
- However, you can type the disk password and start using the system.
