This update lays the groundwork for upcoming SDN management and route optimizations by adding necessary functionality and introducing advanced analytics, allowing users to monitor latency, bandwidth and packet loss between endpoints.
We're excited to present you with the latest release of Syntropy Stack. Our team has been tailoring the product to better align with upcoming features, and we hope these aesthetic and functional updates will also improve your Syntropy Stack experience today.
As we progress our technology and grow the ecosystem, we listen closely to our community to integrate the tools and building blocks that actually matter. If you have any feedback or ideas, let's talk on Discord.

Syntropy Stack
This release contains no breaking changes. However, you will need to update your Syntropy Agents to use the new analytics features. Find the latest version on GitHub:

New Features
Advanced Analytics
You can now monitor latency, bandwidth, and packet loss between any two endpoints and get insights into your connection performance for a given time interval.
First, by clicking on any active connection, you will now see a pop-up window appear. It will allow you to see the status of the connection and information about endpoints involved more easily, break the connection, or access advanced analytics.
Clicking the detailed connection analytics link will take you to the full view with more options and insights. Let’s have a look.
Within the advanced analytics view, you can set a time interval to filter the data. You can also select any other endpoints to quickly access analytics for that connection.
When you click the double-headed arrow between the source and destination endpoints, you will swap them. You can also get a quick glance into a connection status, latency, packet loss, and handshake table in the overview window situated just below selected endpoints.
Improvements
Status representation rework
We have completely reworked how the connection status is presented and extended it to display all of the available information on a connection group at a glance. You can access it by clicking on a connection status icon. Note that the icon will not be clickable if the connection status is pending or N/A.
This rework adds to the analytics update. For further insights, you can navigate to the advanced analytics directly from this side panel.
Network Graph fixes & improvements
In our last major release, we introduced a new graph view, allowing you to manage large networks in a significantly easier & more enjoyable way. In this release, we've made a couple of fixes and improvements for better performance and stability.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed broken view of Virtual endpoints config modal
- Status was missing from the Connection info modal - now it’s added back again
- Virtual endpoint config modal occasionally failed to pop up while clicking on Offline endpoints
Improvements
- Added the ability to search by endpoint ID
- Reduced the size of a glyph box so that the endpoint info and the endpoint bubble itself doesn't take that much space and makes it easier to click on connection lines
- The graph now updates automatically to display the latest status
