After many months, I tried starting Minikube(minikube start) on my machine to see the error in the title and expect this to happen with you in future. So, posting resolution here for your and also my reference. If you are not aware of what Minikube is, here's a short intro. Courtesy: Kubernetes.io :)
Minikube is a tool that makes it easy to run Kubernetes locally. Minikube runs a single-node Kubernetes cluster inside a Virtual Machine (VM) on your laptop for users looking to try out Kubernetes or develop with it day-to-day.
Minikube Features
Minikube supports the following Kubernetes features:
DNS
NodePorts
ConfigMaps and Secrets
Dashboards
Container Runtime: Docker, CRI-O, and containerd
Enabling CNI (Container Network Interface)
Ingress
Error resolution
It's simple
minikube delete
🔥 Deleting "minikube" in virtualbox ...
💀 Removed all traces of the "minikube" cluster.
and then
minikube start
Additionally, if you wish to run minikube on Virtual box, use this
minikube start --driver=virtualbox
Still seeing errors, do a full cleanup with the below command and start again
minikube delete --all --purge
