The Weekend Coder: What's Your Favorite Drink to Power through Coding Sessions? ☕🥤💻

We all know how challenging it can be to stay focused and energized during long coding sessions, long workdays, and long study sessions. So, let's hear it: what's your go-to drink when you need a little pick-me-up to power through? Is plain old black coffee or more like a Black Cherry Vanilla Bang? Maybe it’s a healthier option like green tea 🍵 or a smoothie 🍓🍌.

I think this requires a solid loose leaf tea steeping setup (if it's annoying to prepare you'll not bother), but Yerba Mate is a really great alternative to coffee with compounds that can be smoother buzz vs coffee-induced caffeine.

I don't want to over-promise on a certain type of tea, but I do think Yerba Mate is a great alternative to coffee if you still need the caffeine.

Overall one important thing for me either way is to take at least one day off from taking in caffeine per week.

Water, always water.

Too much coffee or soda drinks gives you kidney stones. You wont listen to me, but you will remember when you are in the hospital in excruciating pain.

There is direct correlation between health of your guts and productivity of your brain.

Kombucha for me. It tastes good, does not have as much caffeine (just enough), gives energy boost.
