I received JavaScript Hero of Community Award πŸŽ‰

Last week, I had a great opportunity to give a talk at one of my favourite conferences recently - JS Poland. This is actually the second time I had a pleasure to speak there with the previous occasion where I was in the audience 5 years ago.

For me, it was a dream come true to speak at this conference while before being there in the audience watching the speakers and thinking how awesome it would be to join them one day. And last week, I was able to not only join the amazing speakers lineup for the second consecutive time, but I also received an award that means a lot to me!

Apart from me, there were 4 other folks who also got similar awards but in different areas. For some, it was about giving multiple conferences in a year, for others about publishing a new book.

Good question!

You have to be a speaker at JS Poland first. Then, you have to show throughout the year that you are doing a lot for the community like writing blog posts, recording videos, building open source tools, etc
