Hey there!
This article will be a bit different as it won't include technical tutorials or guides as I usually do it. Instead I will write about my experience at Vue.js Amsterdam - the biggest Vue.js conference out there!
Enjoy!
My talk
Since I started programming in Vue almost 7 years ago I always wanted to speak at Vue Amsterdam - the biggest and the most popular Vue conference in the world! But in order to do that, you need to become more popular, contribute to open source and become a better speaker overall as the speakers lineup for this conference is pretty stable. Usually there are around 25 slots available where around 20 is reserved for speakers that give a talk there year by year like Evan You, Sebastien Chopin, Daniel Roe, etc. So I was submitting my CFP's (Call for Papers) year after year being rejected. Last year, I actually thought about quiting it completely. But then I reminded myself that 7 years I ago, I told myself that one day, I will give a talk at Vue Amsterdam - it was my dream and this dream came true last week!
I had a pleasure of give a talk about Making e-commerce Vue apps more performant and SEO friendly.
During my talk, I also announced a recent project that I have created with the help of the Nuxt core team. Nuxt Commerce A high-performance, server-rendered E-commerce app built with Nuxt & Shopify. It comes with Nuxt v4 compatibility, Nuxt UI v3, Image and Script optimization, SEO support, and more!

State of Vue Announcement
Apart from just giving my talk, I also was representing my company - Monterail by announcing our most recent project - State of Vue Report 2025 π
It is the fifth edition created with Vue & Nuxt Core Teams delivers exclusive data from developer community, case studies, and expert insights.
Check it out here.
Apart from sharing the good news about the report, I have also hosted the Discussion Panel about the challenges and problems Vue developers face nowadays!
It was extremely stressing for me as I never run a discussion panel yet. But thanks to the help of Alex Lichter, I managed to do it properly with a lot of useful feedback for my future discussion panels!
After party
After finishing the discussion panel, all stress from the conference was finally over and I could enjoy some time with my good friends - called them the Vue Gang π
Summary
That's all from my side for today! If you would like to hear more about how I got here or about any of the topics like Nuxt Commerce, Performance, SEO, State of Vue, etc - do not hesitate to DM me.
Take care!
