Dev Blog #03

So, I bring news of what has be going on with the writing for Monster Killer MV! Small progress has been made but, I have a rough draft story written down now. The last few weeks, a lot has been going on and I haven't had as much time to work on it as I would like but, I have gotten a little bit done on my design doc. If you haven't yet, check out the other dev blogs:

I wanted to keep the story kind of small, so I decided that I would go with 4 bosses. In the original proof of concept game, I had wanted to go with 6 to 8 bosses and 5 different endings (a unique one for each of the 5 classes). This time around, I want to take a little bit of a smaller scale approach.

This will be my first completed RPG MV game and I feel like it is better to start out small and then scale it up than to go hard on am 80 hour "super RPG".

I have a few ideas for weapons, armors, and a few events in the doc but, I am mainly trying to focus on getting a story finished up so I can move on to rounding out the classes.

I think the part I am looking most forward to is the items weapons and armors. Those always seem to be the most fun to work on and I'm kind of excited to get to them. Hopefully I can buckle down this weekend and get a few projects done that I've been neglecting recently.

Sorry there wasn't more to add in this update. With work and everything else, it's been kind of slow going. I'll try to make the next update more eventful.
