React improves code management and the ease of development. Moreover, plain projects start with UI on the server, while in React, everything is dynamically rendered on a single HTML page. React’s main feature is updating UI through state & managing the data with JS variables — and not in DOM, making it much more performant for large-scale projects. 🙃
