Today I finally made the animation work. It turns out that I had to check the "Use Acceleration for Paths" checkbox on a Character Movement component. Reading its description I assume Animation Class assigns proper animation: Stand/Walk/Run depending on how much it accelerates.
Oh, and I constantly revert all the files, because I test stuff and make a mess and want to start again on a clean slate. However, it turned out that I didn't commit yesterday's changes and changes to Manny disappeared :/ Fortunately, I posted a screenshot of my Manny Blueprint under yesterday's post, so I was able to quickly recreate everything. Uff...
