I'm currently listening to some STP
Awww yeah! Love me some STP. Rock on!
One of my faves is Rainbow Kitten Surprise. They're a band from Boone, NC that plays a flavor of indie music that is kinda difficult to categorize. They rock out, they rap, they feel a bit folky — they're just all over the place, but their stuff is great!
I think my all-time favorite song/music video by them has to be "Hide". Really it's more than a music video — it's like a mini documentary. This one will hit ya right in the feels, but it's also just a lotta fun. The music itself is just so celebratory, and the lyrics... wow, just wow!
Hope y'all enjoy it!
The base, Twenty One Pilots 🥰🥰🥰
so glad there's another vessel fan I'm listening to Trench, but Vessel is deffenetly one of favourites :D
I looove Vessel, and also the last album ! Especially the live 🥰
Wish we could turn back time,
To the good old days...
When our momma sang us to sleep
But now we're stressed ouuut✨
Used to dream of outer space, but now they're laughing at our face saying
"Wake up, you need to make money"
Wooohooo, bring the funk!
scary pockets from the ceo of patreons have good flow :>
YES!! I love their tunes.
Listen to a lot of Andrew Marlin at work. He’s in a band Watchhouse that is fantastic but I often enjoy instrumentals to focus to.
So awesome!
And actually, I knew Andrew growing up. He lived in the small town next to me (Warrenton, NC) and we definitely jammed together a few times. I was just starting out on guitar and he was a little bit older than me & already writing incredible songs — Home in the Dessert was one of the early ones.
He actually played at my senior prom in highschool, haha. He played with 2 of my best buds and they played through hits like "Twist and Shout". It was awesome! He's an incredibly gifted song writer.
Whoa! Deep tracks! That’s unreal. I agree. I’m turning into a huge Watchhouse fan. He and Emily have some of the best harmony and concerts are just unreal. If you haven’t seen them in a while go to one!
It has been way too long since I've tuned into his stuff. I go in and out of genres, and I really need to tune back into some of the old folk & bluegrass! I will be checking out Watchhouse for sure!
Currently gemming on a bizarre yet unique genre of music that instructs my brain to release a decent amount of dopamine which in its turn helps me concurrently work on tasks and stuff:
Awww yeah! You know my feels on Meute. To any onlookers, I'd just also suggest that you watch a video of them because it's so cool seeing how the song comes together with this many folks.
And I'm absolutely gonna be tuning into Loscil today. When I need a break from the ambience, I'll pop on Logic.
00s
That's a fun sampling of songs from the 00s!
Lately have been listening mostly Ukrainian music. Some of them:
SadSvit - Casetta youtube.com/watch?v=EGLoIaHwKfE
Kalush - Zori youtube.com/watch?v=5p-IJhnyQMM
and new Kendrick album - Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers
Love that new Kendrick album!! I'm gonna have to tune into some of these Ukrainian tunes — thanks for the suggestion!
Ah I love when people ask this question...it allows me to say
"it's complicated!"
Lol! I discovered this a couple months ago and seriously love it.
The sheer amount of content they put out is just ridiculous. But the presentation with the googly eyes is what sets it off.
Yup, Googly eyes are what did it for me. I think the pirates of the Caribbean theme, with the “sharpie eyeliner” on jack was what made me fall in love with the channel 🤣
And I do have a sensible answer - but I watch as much as I listen to this one, just a beautiful video.
